I wouldn't say it's dead. It's still a lot more alive than this one for example.

That's actually a good idea. I want to play a Monkey Island game where the main villain IS the three-headed monkey, damn it!

That way Guybrush could kill it, in an epic battle involving...bananas?

Afterwards it would be resurrected as an undead three-headed skeleton monkey - but of course one of its skulls would inexplicably have to be Murray.

But yeah this forum is probably the most active monkey island forum the Internet over, which is both exhilarating and sad.
