Default does this mean the shipping is free or have i read it wrong?

On one of the stickys " ToMI DVD Information" it says: "If you purchased Tales of Monkey Island, the DVD is free, plus the cost of shipping!"
does that mean its free shipping or have I read it wrong?
just bit confused...

That means the DVD itself is free, but not the shipping. You pay 0 for the DVD + cost of shipping.

Yeah, you do have to pay for the shipping. But I can understand how that might confuse people!

I'm pretty sure somewhere it was worded differently, like: "when the DVD's available you'll only need to pay for shipping". Or something like that.

If it's anything like the shipping costs to mainland Europe - 11.23 USD or about 8.30 EUR at the current exchange rate.

At least that's what shipping the Wallace & Gromit DVD to Austria cost.

np: Autechre - st epreo (Oversteps)

Well, no idea where you live but Europe should take about 10 euro/days with the 'slow' service.

My experience with ordering something abroad and having it shipped is that it almost doubles the price compared to what you'd pay if the product in question would be on regular stores' shelves.

Of course books weigh more than one dvd, and have larger dimensions, so probably it won't be that outrageous in this case. But not matter what the transport costs are, it'll always beat buying a plane ticket to pick up your copy at the company itself.
