Default Urgently in need for an update!

Playing Tales of Monkey Island on my Macs is great. However, telltale needs to come up with an update for the Mac version asap, since it's almost impossible to move the character using the mouse on OS X!
Adding some more optimization for my MacBook (which has the crappy intel on-board GFX) would be great too, but I wouldn't count on it!

Is there an update notification system build-into the game, or should we check the website regularly for an upcoming update?

Checking the website and the forums is the best option as there isn't usually a built-in update notification system in Telltale's games.
In the meantime, Will's temporary fix works nicely.
Just do command-enter after Will's fix to go back to fullscreen.

You want TellTale to magic you a better Graphics Card? On-boards ARE crap for games, even light games, you need at least a decent chip set to provide some form of power!

Haven't been around these parts since the Mac versions came around but for all the bitching I did in the previous months I felt it only right that I stop in and say thanks to everybody at Telltale for making this happen. Starting my way through ToMI now, looking forward to the titles that'll be making the transition in the future as well!

So I come back to lurk the forums after having been away since shortly after Rise of the Pirate God was released to find this Mac release. And only days after I discover that Valve is going to be releasing Steam on the Mac, with Portal 2 planned as the first simultaneous release on both platforms. What is going on? Since when do developers care about releasing their games on Mac? Has the world gone crazy? ... I like it.

Thanks, Telltale.

The main problem seems to be the graphics memory, which Apple could do something about and won't; and which Telltale could do something about (ship game with multiple texture qualities) but won't =)

In retrospect, though, it was pretty stupid for Apple to ship systems with those graphics cards, and stupider not to design the drivers to use system memory.
