Hey, I finally got around to playing ToMI Chapter 1 and dug up 3 treasures afterwards, but the downloads are all broken... I tried 3 different browsers... same result on each one. And are the avatars supposed to be offered twice? (not that I could open them even once...)

Yeah, this treasure hunt thing is long over man. There's been about 15-or-so other threads very similar to this one.

Most of the prizes were coupons (which would now be long expired), some avatars were another prize, as well as a slightly interactive piece of concept art, a wallpaper and a PDF Coronado de Cava journal.

I remember there being some problems with the avatars when the treasure hunt was still going on. I don't know what became of that though.

And I just tried to download De Cava's journal, and that worked perfectly.

Here localhost, I'm just uploading a zip file of some of the prizes (wallpaper, journal and avatars) onto sendspace. I'll send you the link through a PM.

Then why are broken downloads offered (and the files look mostly correct, but are broken) instead of simply saying that it's no longer available?

That probably would have been the best thing to do, but it would've meant more work on the site. I think Telltale are just letting it die instead.

It could also be those specific files were uploaded on the exploded server (I am not sure if that's literal or figuratively), which caused a lot of files to get lost on the site...

Argh! The downloadable prizes all worked for me (ran through them all just now). They aren't hosted on the exploded server, thankfully, but I'm not sure what's going wrong for you. Looking into it, though!
