Default German versions announced

Daedalic Entertainment will release all four episodes of Wallace & Gromit's Great Adventure in Germany starting in July. They will be released individually as retail disc with full german voice overs (voiced by the same actor that also does Wallace in the movies).

So far, so good. Only thing that worries me ist the price of the episodes. The first episode is already available for preorder at amazon.de for a whopping €15.99.

Grüß dich, Axel!

Well that's certainly a nice surprise, with Daedalic on board we probably won't have to worry about the quality!

But you're right, 15€ is quite a bit expensive when compared to the original price. I do understand that the localization costs cause this... I just hope it finds enough buyers this way.

Still, great news!

As much as I would love to re-buy W&G for a German localization, 15€ per episode is too much. If they'd release a box with all episodes for something between 30€ and 40€ I'd buy it. But I don't get why they are going to release it episodically as well... this surely increases the costs. Maybe they're just testing how well the first episode (which is actually "The Last Resort") is received, before forking out more money to localize the rest?

I agree with that. I'm waiting for the complete Season in German Language on DVD, because i think that 16€ per Episode is too much. All together makes 64€ (about 76$). Sorry, but this is very disappointing!
