I suck at this game. I can't find a character I can have fun with. It's all so foreign to how I usually play FPS games. I can't....get it.

It took me a while to find a character i liked. It varies with the map and situation for me. Personally i like the Heavy, if i need to move about, or are on the attack, and the Engineer when on defense.

And you weren't that bad earlier! I'm sure you ended up dominating me in one match!

I like pyro, But I am likely subject to flaming jokes and being flamed.

So I try to keep up with everything else. But I can not play Demoman, I have yet to score a single point as that

I scored a couple deaths with Demoman. I was doing great with the Sniper for a bit until the dumb Spies killed me. Can't do the same thing for too long, to be sure. Pyro is only good if you're in close-quarters combat and not out in the open for too long (snipers!). The soldier moves quite slow as well. And I don't know how all those Scouts survive. I can't get off much damage with one and I'm always picked off regardless of how fast I'm moving. I know I'd have a lot of fun if I could just garner some skill...it's just very frustrating right now...

Well the engineer update is out. im going to back away from tf2 until this craze dies out and there arent engineers in every other corner.(although i did get 3 achievements before all that

and the device that lets you control sentries

but i suck using it so i probably will just stick to the lugermorph.

I have had the game for over a year and I'm taking advantage of all the players playing Engineer the last few days to get the achievements that require you to destroy a certain amount of buildings.

My reasons for not playing right now are twofold. First off, I'm incredibly preoccupied with preparing for the Monkey Island race. Besides that, engineer is my favorite class to play, and I don't want to drown in a sea of them. Update looks awesome, though.

I'm with Guru in this one. However the update is okay. The only real added element is you can now control your sentry and moving your items.

A sea of engineers? There are no more people playing as the engineer then there was before the update.

I'm not so keen on the update. I don't like the bright blue sheilds. I'll probably get used to it though.

uhhh i dont know what servers you're playing on, but the servers i play on are filled with them. i blended in with them once(when i got my 3 achievements) but it isnt the same. i liked it when i was among of 2 of the engineers there and we had eatchothers back not 100 engineers and its a free for all.

Well im yet to find a game like that but im sure it will die down soon just like every other class update

the shield is for when you control your sentry, which I don't really like to control the sentry. It's kind of annoying to me.

Well the next update are those community weapons. Nothing too major a new bazooka for the soldier(as if he wasnt enough of a problem) new gear for the spy(new knife) and what I call the scouts joke weapons(milk, pistol, fish, and a hat)
