*EDIT* So I found a Monkey Island PS3 Theme online

It kinda sucks in my opinion, but if you want it, here's the link.

The icons look fine, but the background is stretched.

I didn't even know you can use custom themes. Neat.

Yeah... just go online using the PS3's web browser then go to the site above (or one like it) & download whatever you like. I have downloaded themes for everything from Mario to Shenmue

Well to be absolutely fair, you could just download the theme for the icons, then get a Monkey Island wallpaper & change it to your background. This is incredibly easy (its as simple as going to the photo tab on the XMB, selecting your desired image & fitting it to your screen) & allows you to keep the icons but actually have a decent background nonetheless.

I have to admit, the majority of themes based on characters or series' look pretty abysmal.

I've been using this most recently. His other one here is also very nice too.

You've just gotta look hard. There is a whole lotta crappy themes on there, no doubt about that, but if you look hard enough, sometimes you will find one thats pure gold

Hence why I said majority.

Don't have the time to spend looking through thousands of sites for one that does look really good.

I actually downloaded the theme for the f*** of it & it turns out that it has two additional backgrounds that were both somewhat awesome.

Herman & Flaming beard Lechuck. Might as well give it a shot.... it is free after all
