I love the OP's Old one is blue! idea. It's so bad, clearly he isn't taking lighting into consideration

Had to share this really weird comment from a Poker Night release date thread:

The nice thing about this one ^ is that it filters out all the 'Make the Luger vintage!' and all the 'I play TF2 for fun!' as well as comparing diamonds and gold to hats.

I still can't believe how much worth hats are to those guys. Weapons I understand but hats? They don't do anything but make you look spiffy. And the Lugermorph, I missed out on it and always thought it was a cool pistol, so this works out perfect for me. The unlocks are just a cherry to the best damn cake ever.

Yes, I must stress all the "normal" TF2 players stay well away from the TF2 Steam forums.

He's saying Telltale is a loser company that's dependent on Valve for any sort of success, while Valve is worthwhile and gets the real profit from Telltale's games.

Because, as we all know, the only games Telltale has ever done are The Devil's Playhouse and Poker Night at the Inventory, and every last person who bought those games, without exception, didn't care about them and only wanted the TF2 items, which somehow means the money they paid for those games went to Valve instead of Telltale.

Also, with all due respect to Valve, I've got to say something to all the TF2 fanboys going on about how Valve is better than Telltale. The Mole, the Mob, and the Meatball, Night of the Raving Dead, Baddest of the Bands, Muzzled!, Lair of the Leviathan, and They Stole Max's Brain. Hmm. Seems like Telltale has managed to make six different "Episode Threes" already.

Just imagine, HL2: E3 is going to become the new "Duke Nukem Forever" now that that game has actually had a demo released an is very likely (I still can't say "is") going to be released. Hell, there's already tons of jokes about it being delayed over and over.

This one is good.
We have a hypicrit argument, where people complain about the new store and then buy Pokernight for the hats. Followed by some people saying that the game obviously sucks and the tf2 items are the only point in buying it which I must say

They are morons, quick someone who has an account on those forums and tell everyone what telltale is about, how good the games are without tf2 items and more.

For how chaotic a figure he is, there are two things Max would never do. Steal his best friend's most prized possession, and decapitate himself.

Steal Prized Posession maybe(although this was the guy who willingly shot his best friend in 102) decapitate himself, heck he was the guy who wanted his head to explode in 301.
EDIT: reading more into that thread, it looks like only 2 of the people even know it isnt valve who is making the game. A few things is that if VALVE added the hat, it would increase sales for VALVE! Valve should get some money for this, but last I checked it wasn't just VALVE getting all the money. Some people think VALVE chose all this, with some people saying please do it VALVE! Last I checked the only say VALVE gets is what the tf2 items do, and what the heavy can and can't say. Like I said only 2 people even mention TELLTALE the people who only MADE THE GAME. One says Guys valve doesnt say much in this, and the other says add the petition here at telltale(thank god no one did yet)

Ignoring all of the "Name My Item" threads, I quite enjoy the company found in the "Other" subforum. But for the most part, the rest of the place stinks of grotesque self-entitlement. Which (as I'm sure someone else will be keen to point out,) is the lurking "bad" that people must accept when when they invite themselves to VALVe's "good."
