Ah, yes, after searching IMDb I can confirm Ubisoft had a role in the movie's special effects.

Scroll down to special effects. They mostly did the 2D and 3D effects it seems, and visual effects too.

Not as good as the orginal that's for sure. But better than Predator 2 and the two AVP movies.

Not that I didn't like those three movies. It's that Predator is such a classic.

I think ILM does all the CG effects for every Spielberg movie.
