I just bought Sax & Max Season One on DVD from Wal-mart and the voices are not there. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Yes. I can hear the music fine and so of the sound effects. I have Vista based Dell. A very new one.

I was having this problem on an XP machine with a REALTEK audio card built into my mobo. So I did a dxdiag (just enter it on the run menu) and reduced the sound acceleration to basic on the sound tab which turned on the voices and sound effects for me.

Thanks Mugs! This post came before I got here, so I'm afraid I missed it on my first pass, but that definitely sounds like the right thing to do. If it doesn't work, let me know.

sadly it fixes many audio problems ... XD do try all the options if basic doesnt work
also
lord knows whats preloaded on that dell... sigh
