Problem with Nintendo and digital download games is the size restriction is a big issue. There is hardly any room on the console itself so the big N places the bar high on what size the game can be, meaning that Telltale has to extract it down quite a bit or they can't post it. Puzzle Agent on Steam is 295 MB which is more than half of the space on the Wii. Too big to put up as Wiiware, too small to sell it as retail.

With the announcement of Puzzle Agent 2 I think that it's fairly safe to say that the Wiiware version is dead. I'll just get the PC version, it's cheap, anyways.

I believe at this point the respectable thing to do would be to officially proclaim the WiiWare release dead. Although it probably isn't on the top of the agenda, it is quite irresponsible to announce a release and not provide any closure or updates. That said, I will settle for buying the game on PC, and I'm pretty excited about Puzzle Agent 2!
