Unhappy A slight complain regarding the character models

I had just finish the first case of CSI: Hard Evidence and I have but one complain...

It seems that there were little or no improvements on the character models comparing to the previous game. I understand that this is just a game but please... Nick, Gil and Warrick look quite bad and Nick is supposed to be one of the two male eye candies of the whole show pp Which is too bad considering the actor did give their voice over for the game.

Nick look marginally like his real self, while Gil's eye seems to be too close, but I guess you can't help with Warrick hair...

I hope you guys will have time to improve them for the future release.

yeah... the character models are still my only gripe, (same as last year) warrick and brass are the same models as in TDOM andwhile the other models have been slightly improved.... it is not a lot of improvement at all (you may recall last year, when gil closely resembled bob villa)

they all lack detail in their facial features, nick looks baby faced because of this

looking in the credits, it seems the character and enviroment modeling was mostly outsourced.... so what did telltale do besides write and program this game??

Our environment modelers did roughs of all of the environments, and did a lot of clean-up and polish work on them before and after they came back from outsourcing. Our art directors worked with the outsourcing companies every step of the way to make sure they didnt return things that were totally insane. Also, our animators animated everything. Also all the in-game cutscenes, dialogs, and all of the UI and item interaction scenes were built in-house. And finally, yeah we wrote and programmed it all. Games don't make themselves, you know!

For me though, Nick actually look older in close up shot because of the wrinkle in the forehead and the uneven color of his face (which I assume made to look life like).

Also... Jake, only a handful of people did not like the character models? Since it's been use for second times and all.

The characters are pretty shocking, but I guess you are supposed to be looking at the evidence and crime scene, not drooling over a computer generated Nick Stokes!
