That you haven't heard of them ok, but calling them lame; not cool! Both Dino Defender and Danger Zone are really fun, sure they're aimed for kids, and maybe I give them too much love just because of the memories, but those games are still fun to play. If you're alone, Dino Defender's actually a fun game to just pick up and play, and if you've got a friend, playing Danger Zone is a really fun way to pass the time! Great games, really.

Trespasser.
Despite the game being very buggy, it was very innovative at the time it was released and still has a great atmosphere.

Trespasser deserves a remake.

By the way, I've been playing Operation Genesis, and although building a park is not what excites me the most, "Site B mode" alone is a great reason to buy this game.

I can't vote because you put none of the arcade ones on here

I appreciate your passion coming up with this list and all the screens. I never played any Jurassic Park game seriously. I just ripped a few sounds from the GB versions. So at least sonds related i can recommend JP and JP2 from the GameBoy. From your stills i like the (second) green Gameboy game and the one from the Sega Genesis.

Playing through Operation Genesis now, it's really nice so far.

I'll play through Trespasser for the first time, after I watch The Lost World again.

The only one I've played is the Sega CD one, so I guess that's my vote. I was in elementary school when I had it though, and didn't really get the point of adventure games at the time, so I got bored of it and never finished. Remembered it was awesome to have videos in a game at the time though.

I loved the arcade game, the one where the cabinet looked like the park jeep, and would play it all the time with friends.

I have to say the arcade games were the best. Tresspasser was meh and still is meh and operation genesis gets boring. The arcade game I can walk in and play anytime. Right now Im trying to find someone here that will sell me it (the stand up one not the sit down jeep one as i cant fit that in my room.

Operation Genesis, followed by Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues. Both heavily addictive...

For me first is JP SNES, first JP game I played and I played it several times. Only beat it twice though. The thing that annoyed me was that when I would play with my cousins, they would push Grant against the giant JP logos in the walls and glitch through them, causing the game to hang.

Second would be Trespasser, which should be obvious since I'm an admin at the Trespasser Community I think the main problem of Trespasser is that they were trying to do Crysis in 1998 at a time when people were still figuring out how to do outdoor levels in the first place. A Trespasser remake in Crysis would be awesome, IMHO.

And Third would be Operation Genesis, mainly because I used to play Zoo Tycoon a lot when I was younger and an officially licensed JP version was an awesome idea (Though I do have the Dinosaur Park expansion for ZT, haha). Never could get a rating higher than 3 stars though.

"The Lost World" was the first game boy game I had, and it was such a fun, I played it so often.

"Operation Genesis" was great. It had a great atmosphere and the dinosaurs looked really good. We'll see if Telltale can top that. Well, the dinosaurs in the trailer look better so far.

LOL, I followed the JP-mod on Crysis and saw how it pitifully died cause the guys working on it lost interest.

There were a few more mods, one for Far Cry and several others for crysis, including a Remake for Trespasser, like here and here, and they all have one thing in common, gruesome death due to teenage amateurs who dont have the slightest idea what they are getting themselves into.

This Return to Jurassic Park mod wich didnt die yet, well, I almost promise you that as soon as the real shit starts like AI, programming, animating and stuff, they will find girlfriends and abandon the mod too! Some nice models and a crysis-map dont make a game. Or it will come out after decades (as the first JP-mod ever) and you'll see the difference of the work between professional game-devs and amateurs.

Of course there are exceptions regarding some good mods, but I tell you one thing, a JP-Mod wont ever belong to those and waiting for mods is nothing but a big waste of time!

We havent seen the new version, but so far it looks way different then the one in the movie. What about voice acting, facial or dino animations since they are using the original cast? I have to be convinced by seeing the final release after so many let-downs with JP-Mods.

And none of this is an actual Trespasser Remake, so I'll keep my soul for now

Really, I bought the PC version of Operation Genesis from Amazon, and it was no where near that price. It was pretty cheap all things considered. Oh, and it's my favorite JP game. It has the licensed music, accurate representation of the dinos (both visually and soundly) fun and easy to pick up and play management gameplay. And surprisingly good graphics given it's age. All in all, a nice JP game.

although i tried out several JP related games I only own 3 at least:

got Jurassic Park for PC DOS in 1996 and it was a great but very difficult experience.
i liked that it used a lot of novel elements: raft-on-the-jungle-river, the aviary, nedry's jeep, restoring the power in the maintenance-shed.

in 1998 i bought Trespasser which seemed in it's development to become the game I always dreamed of. the promises were at least much too high but I enjoyed the final product a lot. after the trescom-community has been established the game got even more long lasting by just trying out several things with the editor.

finally i also bought Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis which I liked very much too. Graphically it was a treat but the gameplay itself turned out to be a bit too primitive. With some mods it gained more depth.

Trespasser was pretty good and it's definitely my favorite if you exclude the arcade game.

I could spend hours playing the arcade game. My friends and I have beaten it so many times and yet, we keep playing. It's one of those games that has unlimited replayability.
