I think so. Saturday Night Live called him for an audition but in the end he didn't get the job. I guess/assume he's doing stand-up comedy and voice acting now.

I still can't really hear any singing in that trailer. Are you sure anyone's singing in there? A lot of shouting though.
Thanks for the tip anyway.
I know I know he did like 2 notes but I thought it could have helped anyway haha

Much respect for your job, I love voice acting and it would be great if we can hear some of your stuff! Do you by any chance have a website or a youtubechannel?

Wow, thanks Puzzlebox!
It just doesn't sound like John Cleese at all. Didn't expect that.
I can work with this however.

Thanks for the kind words. I do have a website.

It doesn't really have any samples yet though, but I'll let you hear the songs when they're done.

Yeah, it was a lot of fun working with a big budget and names like Carry Tefsen.

For the Rabobank I did the voice for Christiaen the medieval coin exchanger in an episode of "De Avonturen van Jippe".

Not sure if it matters anymore but I actually found some clips of Lloyd singing:

In "Taxi"

"Bilbao Song" from Happy End

While it tecnically wasn't sung by Lloyd himself, he voiced the character dialogue on the film and the singing was done by Jim Cummings in a very Lloyd-ish style. And has a lot of Jeremy Irons too...

I actually recorded 3 of the 4 songs I'm supposed to do. Every single one except the Christopher Lloyd one. We haven't really decided on the voice yet. We went with Chris Lloyd, but after that we felt it wouldn't work, so we're figuring it out now.

I think I can safely say that I can't do an impression of Chris Lloyd. I always manage to sound like Dan Castellaneta's rather broad impersonation of him from the Animated Series. (That, and it's a pain on the vocal cords. Really.)

As for the original poster: I thought for a minute you were going to say that Universal Studios had a new BTTF ride in the works and you were going to apply for the Doc Brown walkaround outside the ride building.

Which sparked another memory: in 2000, my family and I visited USF and went on that ride, with the Doc character ranting about how his DeLorean had been stolen. I said, "Why don't you just dial 10-10-321 and call the police?" The crowd burst out laughing, 'cause (Lloyd) was doing the ads for the 10-10-321 collect-call service. (Was it 321 or 220? I can't remember.)
