My bad, allow me to elaborate.
I consider "Fanfilm" anything that is amateurishly made.
That includes really bad angles, choppy camera work, bad image quality, awful sound etc etc.
However, I did see some Fanfilms that are way better than some Hollywood movies, in terms of effort put into them.
I don't consider that if you have a 3000 dollars camera you are a professional... but I do think that, if you are willing to spend that much money on equipment, you must know a little more than "Backyard Effects".
I'm not really stating an argument here... I'm just saying this: Even if it is unnoficial, it doesn't mean it's amateurish.
