No, as Jon Pertwee was well over sixty for the Five Doctors, as was Patrick Troughton for that and the Two Doctors.

Who has two thumbs and picked up a small CC subscription on the set of releases he most wanted? This guy. (4.03-4.08, because Peladon, Turlough, Benny, 2 discer, Jamie, and Romana II stories, all with high ratings from Time Scales).

Well, I've been waiting for the sale for about three months, so I haven't bought anything recently. I think I'll probably pick up the first audio with Evelyn in it, a couple of the better ones from 1-50, the CC "Peri and the Piscon Paradox" and a couple of others if they take my fancy. Or a subscription if it's discounted.

I've heard the second Evelyn is amazing too, as it has the Brigadier in it and it is not Minuet in Hell or Zagreus, so it is good (trollface.jpg).

And as for the sale, I've comiled a final list of 19 titles to purchase from the 1-50 and if I have any more cash and something I want is on sale then that's wonderful. Again, I'd remind you the CC with Jamie set after his mind-wipe and he recalls a story called 'The Glorious Revolution' (release 4.02) is on sale for download for five your currencies for some reason I can't find out, but it sold me on the CC format. It's an excellent way of giving characters a final goodbye, with the Brigadier one him chilling out recalling his Unit days with some wine, or Jamie getting the option to revive his memories, or Leela dying due to the Time War. I have no idea how BF gets away with using the Time War, but that trilogy did. Possibly due to vagueness.

Neil Gaiman isn't writing it, our lord and savior Grand Moff Tarkin is.

But wait... if I'm the Doctor, what's to stop me going back and stopping your insane plan in the first place? I mean, you're clearly a villain of the worst sort, so it's not as if anyone would object.

You can't go back inside you own timeline. You have to stay relative to coolsome within the causal nexus. Understand?

Somewhat related due to Grand Moff Tarkin's involvement (next time the thread gets remade (possibly for Midseason) you might as well make it a Sherlock discussion thing too)):

So it's getting a full series. Cool. I know plenty of people who'll be pleased with that.

It does make sense though. Nobody really expected Sherlock to explode in popularity the way it did, so nobody was prepared to make more so quickly. Splitting Who in half to allow for a new mini-series of Sherlock was a great way to tide people over until they had time to properly plan out a full series.

Be curious to see if they split next year's series of Doctor Who into two as well, but I'm not too bothered. As long as the series arc isn't quite so complex and there's a few more proper stand-alone stories (like The Doctor's Wife, for example), I'll be happy.

I could bring you down with a word. No - eight words. Just eight words.

No, it's still a mini-series. It just started filming and it should be finishing up soon as well as Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch need to get back to filming the Hobbit. The third episode/final episode of the season is called 'Reichenbach'. I AM EXCITE

Oh. Well, take what I said, and apply it to the third series. That should work.

I'll admit there are similarities to David Tennant, but Mr Smith (oh, I get what they did there!) has really made the part his own. It's hard to imagine David Tennant doing the whole Docleganger thing without mugging it up, but Matt does it almost effortlessly.

In terms of modern Doctors, Eccleston is still my favourite, but Smith is a very close second.

I was walking the dog today down the Gallops, and the ground felt strange. A little bouncy. A few minutes later, I saw a few tufts of blue-ish grass. I now believe that the Silurians return is imminent.

Either that or the BBCs marketing department is behind it all. Which wouldn't surprise me, given that they managed to explode a star last year!

I've also decided I'll probably pick up most of the Colin baker 1-50 BF releases. They pretty much seem to be the only consistently decent ones. That is, if the subs aren't on sale.

So I watched 6x06 so I'd be ready to watch 6x07 at 8pm sharp on Saturday. I did not particularly care about how the reveal was done, at all. It was made to create confusion and was not particularly clear as to what was happening until five seconds before The Doctor did the thing.

Also; after three years, we finally find out who River is. Weirdest theory I've heard? She's Mel's daughter or in fact Mel herself, which would explain why she is quite the screamer.

Also; yeah, I'm picking up most of Six/Evelyn stuff too, seeing as it's the only other arc besides Eight's arcs. Most people dislike the Peri/Erimem stuff as part of the reason Five's regeneration was so good was that he barely knew Peri when he saved her, and the expanded universe takes away from that. In fact, looking at my chart of audios I intend to purchase, I only want 'Loups Garoux' from Five/Peri, and that's because it's heralded as wonderful, in addition to 'The Bride of Peladon' because it's a Peladon story, but it's also Erimem's goodbye story. The only other one that well recieved is The Kingmaker, which has William Shakespeare as the villain, which clearly means it's not canon anymore, sort of taking away the desire to purchase.
