For $10 a month? No thanks. I can go through why I validate Netflix as a purchase, but it has the near-entirety of NuWho, the entirety of Power Rangers, a bit of OldWho, all of The Office, Cheers, 30 Rock, Park and Recreation, Firefly, Lost, Heroes, 24, and will soon have the complete series of all the Star Treks as well. In other words, Netflix is the best bang per buck and I refuse to pay for more then one of the Internet Streaming service. Also, if it's anything like Netflix, they'll be rips of the VHS' and the 60s stuff is nigh-unwatchable in that state.

Heh, I somewhat exploited a audible promotion to get the Soundtrack to what I've heard is the best Missing Story (and I'm inclined to agree based on the basic summary I read), Evil of the Daleks. If y'all want, http://www.audible.com/t1/30dgft_plusone_TV is the link for signup with 2 free audiobook credits, of which I'd reccomend getting The Evil... and The Power...

I saw that a while a go, but I think I might just have to give it a try (I only saw the new-who audiobooks beforehand, I didn't realise they carried classic episode soundtracks!).

In other news, I thought I saw christopher Eccleston on the bus the other day. If it wasn't for the fact he was wearing really raggedy football clothes, and was on a bus in wiltshire of all places (getting off at my stop too!) then I would have been uber excited. He had the beard and everything!

Yeah, the soundtracks are definately worth signing up for - just sign up, add the 2 credits worth of stuff to your account, and then be sure to remove it before they start billing you. What's more convenient is it ties to your amazon account, so you don't have to type in all that debit card information. I'm quite considering picking up a few soundtracks off audiogo, they're at quite the reasonable price (most are ~£6), and I enjoyed the one episode of Evil of the Daleks I listened to.

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

No sooner have I organised my entire audio collection, then does my computer start playing up. The internal circuitry responsible for carrying the charge from my charger to the battery is "On the edge of destruction". I now have to hold the charger at a dodgy angle to do anything. Here's hoping it lasts until I can back-up my iTunes library!

If not, I think I may just shoot myself. ¬_¬

Okay, so my library is now all backed up. But it's renamed all the files. All my tracks now have numbers after them ("Part One 3" for example). Grumble...

Heheh, how is it you still don't have a External Hard Drive in 2011? I got a 2TB for $80 a few months back, and it's changed the way I download things.

Started listening to Project: Twilight. It's pretty good. The bad guy is very bad.

Also: Tetris is my new thing to do while listening.

I do have an external drive (as of 3 months ago!), but before now it's soul purpose has been to create a backup of all the family photos (including ones pre-digital. I'm still only 10% of the way through doing those!) and home videos. I really should get into a habit of backing things up more often..

Oh yeah, I watched the first two parts of "The ark" last night. They were pretty awesome, and worked very well on your own. It's basically just a futuristic version of "European men land in americas, kill off natives with diseases". However the rest seems to be completely different.

And the aliens have zippers in their costumes. That's always a good sign.

Oh, I watched Revelation of the Daleks. It was pretty bad. I am really surprised that people say it's Colin's best story, every other story I've seen has been better. Also; State of Decay, 7/10 potatoes.

Next I'm on to Warrior's Gate, which is apparently one of the best stories. After that, the Mind Robber.

Final review of Project: Twilight. 10/10. Wonderfully dark in all the right ways. Not in a whimsical way. As in really, really dark. Also really complements one of the stories I mentioned above.

Well, you certainly got my hopes up there. Now I'll look up where it is on the DWM 200 - my key is if it's within 10 of Terminus it's bad to the point where I'd rather shoot myself then watch but not so bad it's funny, based entirely off Terminus. Aand it's at 81, just 9 short of Enlightenment, so my hopes are high.

Listened to first two bits of Master - it's very 'My Dinner With Andre The Master', and I'm quite enjoying it. McCoy is a delight to hear, as always.

random thought... i'm just about finished with "The Ark" How is it that the doctor knows everything about history before the 1960's, but he seems to know absolutly NOTHING about history past the 1960's... you can't honestly tell me he's explored all these past pieces of history, and not managed to hit on some of the future history, especially with a malfunctioning tardis, heck he landed in the ark twice in a row...

I'm watching that one! As for his historical knoeledge, you could argue that its because he spent so long in 1963, so him and susan had plenty of time to study/pickup on the history of that period from people around them, the school history lessons etc.
Or maybe he's just daft'

It's just a show, you should really just relax, as MST3K would say.

And I finished Master this morning: quite enjoyable. 9/10. Actually, the ending line leads brilliantly into the new series' arc with the Master.

He does know about the future! He just doesn't tell everyone about it. Spoilers...

I'm three parts of the way into "The one doctor", and it's become my favourite audio, I think. Unless the last part does something monumentally horrid!

Heh, I didn't care for it. Then again, you said you disliked Master and I didn't care for Seasons of Fear.

I particularly love "That which does not kill Rory Williams makes him stronger. In addition, that which kills Rory Williams also makes him stronger."

Every single one of those is awesome. Only down side is that it should be Rory Pond. Oh well.

Fun thing: in the Series Six end credits, Arthur Darvill is credited as just 'Rory' because they don't know to use Pond or Williams.

Does he need a surname? "The Rory" will suffice. Or possibly Kenny.
