Gamescom 2011 Pictures!
Hello everybody who couldn't join us (or doesn't remember), here's our selected selection of carefully selected photos. (Sorry Vainamoinen, somehow you didn't end up on any of the pictures... is it possible that you're a vampire?). Note that we took artistic liberties regarding chronology or actual events:
 It's a hot summer day in Cologne.  What better thing to do than spending the day in a dark, crowded, sweaty, smelly, foggy huddle of nerds?  Two unknown, grumpy nerds taking the train to god knows where...  Mermaid is wearing a red wristband, indicating she's obviously a grown-up already (having access to all the violence and porn you could imagine).  One lanyard to bind them all!  Laserschwert's evil twin brother...    A fine piece of art.   Do want!  Yay!  A mighty pirate on his mighty way home. Later that (or some other) day:  Majus eagerly waiting for goodies...  The goodies arrive!  Goodies for Mermaid   No goodies for Majus   I got to sign something for Mark! It's a mad world...  Now everyone's happy...  ... even Majus. No goodies, but beer     That's the second biggest bottle of Vitamalz I've ever seen!  Honey, I'm home!  Laserschwert, Majus, Mermaid and Mark! Thanks a bunch! And yes, I always try very hard to be the vampire and actually don't want to be in any picture posted online. I'm more of a grey eminence... you can see parts of me in the "signing" picture, that's about enough.
xspider has shot one of me while I was unsuspecting... may he be gentle... or be banned...  /edit: WAIT!! Was that the ORIGINAL of Purcell's painting??? Damn, I knew there was at least one reason to go to the gamescom.

The coolest thing was actually having Mark (Darin) at my apartment, while we were playing "The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood" via my HD-projector and getting somewhat of an interactive live developer commentary by him, although Mark was terribly tired from countless hours of interviews at the Con that day... thanks so much, man!!
