Hi, I'm Alebrush, a greatest fan of Monkey Island.

For several days I´ve been working on a patch to fix the horrible hairstyle and face that was done to Guybrush Threepwood in "The Secret Of Monkey Island Special Edition" and thus achieve esthetic coherence with it's sequel.

The patch is completed and it contains the totality of Guybrush's animations and close-ups. It also has an unistaller to return the game to it's original form.

Oh wow, nice work!

I still don't know how they managed to choose such an awful design for the hair in SoMI:SE.

I am still extremely pissed that Lucasarts didn't release the Monkey Island: Special Edition - Collection discs in the US...

Shizamn! Surely they could be imported though. It's not like PC's are region locked or anything.

Excellent. I could never get used to Guybrush's hair in the SE no matter how hard I tried. With this and the other changes fans have made for the game, this game is much more enjoyable.

It did in the first place.

I played through the whole game, just to confirm that all the proper Guybrush sprites and close-ups look right, and they're all quite well done.

Good job. I recommend this patch.

Hmm...it's okay, but I'm a bit distracted by the fact that he has no eyes when seen from the side.
