I mean, look at how Kermit moves in this video. Look at his hands.
The Jim Henson company makes some CGI kid's shows now, and they use a machine called a "Waldo" that captures their hand movements to allow them to control digital characters through physical puppetry. It's pretty cool.

I do think that the look of Toonstruck or Who Framed Roger Rabbit could be achieved by putting cel-shaded characters alongside realistically-rendered characters. Poker Night would probably have looked that way if Max and the Heavy weren't also really cartoony.

The thing is, WFRR would be almost impossible to get right. The original had such a unique charm.

Cool TT should make BBC's Merlin Video game!

It would be perfect for an action/adventure puzzler game with controls kind of like in Jurassic park! Alot of people would kill for a video game of that show!

The guy who plays Merlin is from my town, he blanked out friend Steve in the filling station last year some time. Even though Steve is a complete tool, we have all put Merlin/Morgan into our deadly enemies lists.

Still, would you play a game version?

Default Generic 'Telltale should make...' thread

We seem to have had a lot of threads pop up lately for games that Telltale should make. In the past we had one thread for these ideas, but that seems lost to the ages now, so I figured I'd make a new one. Hopefully this will reduce the number of threads popping up for people to mock.

I'll kick us off with...

I think it'd be awesome if TT made a Battlestar Galactica game. All the dialogue and story development that TT does well, mixed with spaceships and robots. Sweet.

I wouldn't.

I walked in on my Dad watching something on TV a couple weeks ago, and when I looked at the screen I honest-to-god thought it was a parody. The make-up on the old wizard was hilarious, and the acting was so cheesy!

Then he told me it was Merlin.

True story.

I want a Star Trek adventure game, and at this point I really don't care which series/part of the franchise they base it on. It's been way to long since 'A Final Unity'.

Oh god, finally. After all these months, and many times of me pointing that out, we finally have a centralized topic.

Now if only this were stickied. Stickified. Stickerdisticked. Whatever.

Buuuut anyway. I'd love to see Telltale take on me, er, I mean, Penny Arcade. Maybe not Precipice of Darkness, although it would be cool to see that be realized.

Also, Telltale should take on Lovecraft, and play it absolutely straight, make it as scary as possible.

Finally, Sonic the Hedgehog. I bet somebody here is / was going to love this.

There's going to be a Precipice of Darkness 3, by the guys who did Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World. But a completely different setting with the same sort of characters would work quite well, methinks.

You know, there was someone who suggested a My Name Is Earl game a few thousand threads ago. In my opinion, that's not a bad idea. It would be hard to realize it as a point & click game, but it wouldn't be that far of a stretch. I mean, you've already got the premise, go through the list fixing what you messed up in another person's life. An overarching arc would be hard though.
