I'm more interested in this - 'Exclusive advance screenings of all-new Sam & Max animated shorts between episodes'. ADVANCE screenings - the shorts will be available on telltalegames.com! Oh joy of joys!

The same people who write the games

I'm going to assume they're going to be little jokes with the characters interacting, possibly along the lines of the silly one-page Sam and Max comics.

The gametap site took down the part about the TV series.

They seem pretty shoddy with getting they're info straight...

Beginning with episode 2 in December, the games will be released monthly. Stand-alone machinima “shorts” will be released weekly to bridge the gap between episodes, beginning in December.

So I looks like they will advance the plot of the overall story arc and show what happens between cases,

And guess what? Now they are running a new trailer specifically saying the TV series is coming. Watch this video (warning: may contain some puzzle spoilers):

I'm getting really tired of this runaround from Gametap.
