...inventors of Chicken Run.
Well, I know now that I will be seeing this movie. Mainly because it has Chicken Run on the box and my mother adores Chicken Run and will thus make the whole family see this movie. Not a bad thing, of course. I quite liked Chicken Run myself.

Maybe not the greatest excuse but the name change may be because apparently the movie has been adapted from the first two books.. and not just the first book titled The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists The second book actually has two titles one for the US and one for the UK to further confuse matters.
I do not love the band of misfits title but I do not hate it either... I saw it last week with some friends. It was pretty awesome. Not least because it had davey t in it. And blogs island was awesome. By which I man blood island, but the predictive keyboard says otherwise. I loved the pirate naming system, especially the surprisingly curvaceous pirate. How many books were there? How many more can they make into films?

I took my family to see this over the weekend.. We all really enjoyed it.

I really felt the aardman look fit the books, when they announced that aardman was making it I was like "YES!"
