The upside to it being a zombie apocalypse is that yiu have the chance of killing duck twice! Smother him in his sleep and bash his noggin in when he comes back!

Exactly. So Duck could very well be killed but it would have to be when we're not around. Hence why bother killing him off at all? So sadly I see us stuck with Duck till the end. Prove me wrong Harrison. Prove me wrong.

I like Duck as a character in a story.. having to actually deal with his well being in real life would be a big burden..

I think TTG would have the balls to kill off the kids.. They seem to be trying really hard to be faithful to the books and the books have not pulled any punches.. The show has not either for that matter.

I think we have to look at the situation and not just the killing a kid off. We have to look at it through survival. If he does something dumb and get's eaten or what not it's his fault. You have to remember this whole game is about survival.

So true. And by keeping him alive now we do have a nice distraction to feed to the zombies later. Good point.

Tie him to the back bumper of the truck while slowly driving through the hoard? Kinda like troll fishing! Yeah! That's the ticket!

how do the thick/dumb/annoying kids die in movies and other games ?

i don't recall seeing many die anywhere close to justified or appropriately lol

usually it's hinted at or the kid suddenly disapears while screaming..

I honestly don't understand the hate for Duck. I like him. He's definitely a handful, but he's a cheerful little guy.

Although, my dad was a special education teacher and my mother worked with a woman who was mentally handicapped when I was little (and she still keeps in touch with her), so I grew up around people with varying mental disabilities. I guess that really helps to make you not turned off by their (not intentional) unusual behavior.

So... you're saying Duck is mentally handicapped? ROFL

Truthfully though, I do not hate Duck. It is more humor than anything when speaking of offing The Duckster. Though.... he is damned annoying... *evil chuckle*

To be fair, it never crossed my mind that he may have mental issues, i know stupid people, people who lack common sense, but id never out and out say that they had mental issues, and i think most of the hate comes from the fact hes pretty useless and has already caused one persons death.

The only survivors in this world are going to be Clementine, who is the world's oldest first grader at age 8, and Duck. They're both dumber than a sack of hammers, and they're going to be a great couple. Anyone see the movie idiocracy? Wait til their kids are the future of humanity.

He seems to be, based on my experience with the mentally disabled. The way he speaks in repeated sayings and the way that he talks non-stop about something he's interested in to Clementine when she's obviously not interested seems like autism. And, then his dad described him as being not too smart. That seems like it's a mentally handicapped form of autism rather than a high-functioning autism like Asperger's.
