I got the freezes at that first zombie scene, but more annoyingly I'm getting a thing where the game will have a slight stutter about once every second, without fail. Doesn't seem to matter how graphics-intensive the scene is, it constantly does this throughout the game, even on the title screen (I can tell because the scrolling text stutters once every second). Anyone else getting this? I haven't had this particular issue with any of TTG's previous episodes. - (okay, nevermind about that. It turned out to be a completely unrelated thing that was eating up nearly all of my CPU. It works fine now!)

Default Possible solution to stuttery gameplay

I have a fairly decent gaming rig, with a quad core and 4 gigs of ram, and a decent graphics card, however the game still had a lot of lag in the cut scenes. I then downloaded GameBooster from http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html and turned on the booster and that seems to have turned off enough unnecessary processes on my system to make the game smooth.

Hope that helps some others

I did notice that the game has very awkward stuttering at the times. My frame rates stay above 70 fps yet it there will be some stuttering when a car moves.

It might be driver related but I have the latest Drivers by Nvidia.

At the very begining of the game when you first run from the zombies its almost like there are missing animation frames when you fall, get up and then run again from the zombies.
Since he kind of appears on the ground after a skip and then is back up again. After that though no problems.
