I'd recommend this - I've been having a lot of fun with the PS3 version.

Midweek Madness is twofold this week, with both 'games' being half price.

Plants vs. Zombies is £1.75 / $2.49, while Dear Esther is £3.49 / $2.49. Hence the quotes around 'game'.

Also, Sonic 4: Episode II is out now. Joy, or something. I guess.

Plants vs. Zombies is so good. One of my most played games.
Dear Esther is not a game. It's a book. A visually pleasing book. I really enjoyed it but you can still get the free SourceMod-Version.

PvZ is actually REALLY good for what it is, a slimmed-down casual tower defense game. It has that addictive quality that a lot of these have, and I had way more fun with it than I should have(Steam says I put 32 hours in before I finally stopped).

True that. It's perhaps the only tower defense game I appreciate as more than bland time killing. They really pulled out the stops on charming design.

For the love of god, do NOT buy this. I tried it, and it is a terrible, terrible game. Even at this price, stay away.

Oh, and there's also DLC for... Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter? The hell? Anyway, as a result, the Serious Sam Complete Pack, which has EVERY SINGLE SERIOUS SAM GAME AVAILABLE ON STEAM, is 75% off at £16.25 / $21.75, which is an excellent price for all the stuff you get.
(For the record, that's both the original and HD versions of The First & Second Encounters, this DLC, Serious Sam II, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Double D and The Random Encounter).

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter went free to play yesterday. If you owned it before that you automatically got the "campaign-DLC".

I have it. Only the single player campaign for the free to play version.
Not the new DLC...

I just checked. The F2P version of the game is gone. As is the 15€ campaign DLC.

It was just an upgrade to the full game which has the same price.

The free to play version that had the multiplayer only.

The core game has now changed to a free-to-play multiplayer-only version, with the campaign now set out as DLC. So, essentially, the campaign we've always owned has to be given back to us via DLC, because the core game has become something less than it initially was. It's not an upgrade for us, the previous owners of this content, but rather just a shifting of classification.

This 'Legend of the Beast' DLC though... that's actually new stuff as opposed to the original single-player stuff, right?

GamersGate has Saints Row 3, and for the first time to my knowledge, most of the DLC, on sale. Even the Season Pass is half-off.
