I promised evidence for hanging up your work, but I didnt get to that yet. I am barely home, mostly I am at the academy working on our new animaton-movie. But the Rick-pic is already printed out, lying right now on my desk!



That Megan-pic is great, and its wonderful to see interpretations of the characters by other eyes. This is so awesome! Again, this stuff motivates us a lot, and we are looking forward to getting back on the comic when theres time!

What I can tell you (since we noticed that we didnt mention that properly in the first comic) is that theres something bigger about the whole pixel-business than you may think. Also, its not connected to the flash movie at all.
Looking at the first comic now, I wish we put in a moment that hints that Ricks hair may not be a fashion choice... theres only a tiny thing in episode 1, strip #19.

Oh, and, oh damn, a few month ago I erased all the nice comments on the comic. Theres was a huge spam-flood, one comment every minute, and while cleaning up I accedently removed every comment. Damn.

A good print. Even the photograph shows the relevant value distributions. And I was a little proud of those. They made the black & white version really readable, that's a first for me.

The loss of the RR-comments is a damn tragedy. What's an artist if no one comments on his work? I promise to fill up Season 2's comments both English and German. And I will motivate at least one friend of mine to do the same. Yes, the one with a framed, personalized Majus-signed Guybrush drawing on her bookshelf.

I didn't expect you to ever comment on Rick's hairstyle again. That was like an allusion to, a remnant of the earlier work. But as you can see from my last sketch, the resolution problem from the Flash movie was still on my mind, and I found the idea charming that Megan somehow partook in Rick's revolutionary low-tech conspiracy. The fan art might of course be adapted to reflect any new flash-movie-conflicting information as it comes up in another comic strip season.
