happy and satisfying are like comparing Oranges and Lemons. I want to feel good about my decisions or else it's like a choose your own adventure book called "What will horrible murder you" where all endings involve being horribly murdered.

I agree. There can't be no 'real' happy ending especially with an overrun world during an zombie apocalypse, including when you die you come back as one of them. However, there has to be a payoff for the player or you will pull a Mass Effect 3 ending that only pisses everyone off.

I'm okay with sad endings like they did for Bioshock 2 which was beautifully done, bringing manly tears to my eyes. The sad part starts at 2:44. Picture the girl as Clem and father as Lee.

I'm all for game design with a satisfying ending, but I just can't picture how this could look like in TWD.

In my opinion, the whole game concept counters prevailing notions that gaming is about instant gratification concepts. The effects of your actions are long postponed and often unforeseeable; the dilemma by definition yields no satisfying choice; the psychological rewards of puzzle-solving are almost cut out of the equation; the death of your team mates inevitable; the crushing of hope the highest narrative principle.

However this game ends, how could it avoid the feeling that all was for nothing? How could there be a satisfying ending - or even two or three? Even if they make it to the boat, the rest of their lives would be boring and depressing in the extreme!

Lee cures the zombie apocalypse by creating a serum of his own design at the end of episode four*. He and Clementine find a working helicopter and learn to fly it together, blanketing America in anti-zombie spray, or "Marsh Spray," as it's called (reason for that name to be revealed later, I don't want spoilers here). Lee marries Lilly or Carley, depending on player choice. In a rare playthrough, Lee can also marry Katjaa by means I don't want to reveal yet (again, spoilers).

* If Doug is in your group to help you, the serum is developed one episode earlier.

I guess that's the tricky question. Can you actually make a Walking Dead game with a satisfying ending especially knowing all the details about how bad the world is and about the infection. Regardless, I'm willing to trust TTG because I'm impressed with everything I seen so far. I'm definitely waiting patiently for episode 3 and the next tough choices they have for me and all the OMG moments they have in store.

She lives in Woodbury trying to have a normal life and some sort of society. Then according to the Governor a threat present itself and they all go fighting for what they have. It's true she kills Lori and the baby but she doesn't know about the baby and she believes these people are a danger to their group. When she finds out the truth she is the one to off the Governor in the coolest way possible (something that even Michonne didn't do). Then she takes the lead and possibly gets her group to safety (or not... nobody knows... except for Kirkman).
So I don't really see what's that bad thing she does you all complain about.

P.S And besides, it's not like somebody liked Lori... Lilly actually did us readers a favour.

Seems like i always find the threads with you Yami haha

i agree, i hated Lori too but with her death part of Rick died as well. No matter how much i disliked her, she was Rick's wife and those issues after the prison assault made me really feel for Rick, and that's why I'm not a fan of Lilly. Yes she didn't know but she still did it, that's how i feel at least

But yeah, my prediction is that Lilly is gonna leave and Kenny is gonna be in charge but he's gonna make some decisions that are gonna be really hard to follow, and you (Lee) have to choose whether to step up or not.

"I know, there's nothing to be said" turns head and looks at Kenny "he'll learn, wait till it happens to him"...

I hope in episode 3 there's an option for Lee to get it on with Lilly while giving Kenny the finger! Then while he stands dumbstruck and open mouthed Lee casually walks over and knees him in the balls!

That should leave him in no doubt who are the alpha male and female in this group now.

I know how it's going to end it isn't clementine gets killed if you haven't made her a survivor. It's Clementine doesn't have the skills to save lee if you haven't taught her well
