Seeing how both Pixar and Disney seem to be losing their touch with following the same old hat for entertainment. I am very glad that they(disney) decided to greenlight this movie. So far this like the modern Roger Rabbit were talking about here.
We have major video game characters from actual games that Disney managed to get the rights to rather than creating parodies of them. And this film pays tribute to classic video games during the acrade...So...Shut up and take my money Disney!!

I found an LA Times article that supports that Wreck-it Ralph is going to be in Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed. I suppose that fits, since Disney did release a Wreck-it Ralph game so Wreck-it Ralph is a video game character. It will be interesting to see what other video game licensing deals come out with Wreck-it Ralph.

On an unrelated note, huh, I thought I heard the Lone Ranger film was being shelved.
But yeah, can't wait to see more of Wreck-It Ralph. Also, it is known, I believe from the Sonic Boom event, that Sonic will be voiced in that film, in a sort of Sonic Says segment, stating that when a character dies outside his own video game, he dies fo rizzle. |

That's a much better trailer.
 I was already wanting to watch this just for the video game cameos, now I want to watch it for the story and jokes too.
