Default TellTale Games on Disc

Hi

I just got and finished the disc version of Back to the Future on PS3, and was wondering do you plan on releasing your other games (Monkey Island especially) onto disc?

I much prefer disc, all in one place, get to feel like I own it
Plus storage space is an issue for me.

Thanks

The majority of Telltale's games do have discs for the PC versions of their games. If that isn't what you want, then Sam and Max season 1 and season 2 both had separate disc releases for the Wii I believe.

Just about every Telltale game has had a disc release for the PC.

The first two Sam and Max seasons (and BttF, though you've already beaten it) have had disc releases for the Wii, and Jurassic Park had a disc release for the 360.

As for if they plan to do any more...well, I can't speak for Telltale, but I wouldn't treat disc releases as a guarantee personally.

Don't bother with the Wii disc versions, they're really not very good. BTTF especially, which suffers from some terrible framerate drops. Sam & Max Series One frequently had the end of sentences cut off and the driving sections had a framerate equivalent to a slideshow presentation. Series Two... I never really tried, but I've not heard great things either.

The majority of the PC versions have all had disc versions (The Puzzle Agent games, the two Poker games and Hector are the exceptions), but as far as I'm aware only the more recent console games have had / are getting disc versions. BTTF onward, IIRC.

PS3? I've only seen disc releases for Back to the Future. I don't know if any of the other games will be released in a similar manner, but I'd be surprised if The Walking Dead didn't get one, considering it's Telltale's most successful game to date. Don't expect previous games to get one though.

I believe that once the first season is completed, Telltale said that they would have a retail release of the Walking Dead in North America.

I believe you can get BTTF, all 3 seasons of Sam and Max and Strongbad's Cool Game for Attractive People on disc for shipping. I would LOVE disc copies of Hector and the Puzzle Agent Games though.

It initially gets you downloads. However, if you're willing to pay shipping, you can get disc copies of all 3 Sam and Max seasons, SBCG4AP,and BTTF. The process is a bit roundabout, however.
