My point was that just because he is a cop does not mean that he is a good guy or even a mentally stable guy (like Shane).

If we are talking me as me, and not me as Lee then my group would look like this:

Lilly (before Larry died and got salt licked) military experience (shooting experience) administrator leader of a whole hangar, a mechanic (though for planes) but still...

Larry (even with his heart problem and anger management he have proved that he can be more of an asset to the group than a burden, and it's always a good idea to have someone around you who if stressed to much would fall down in pain and spasm a lot (the perfect zombie bait) so make the rest of the group get away)

Doug even though he is a geek he have proven that he pulls his weight for the group (the warning system anyone?)

If I could take people out of specific scenes "or before scenes would be more correct" and remove their "feelings towards me"

Mark Soldier from the US army (it's not deserting if your whole platoon is getting eaten and you flee the area with a group of civilians (it's a strategic withdrawal)

Carley good with a gun, seems like a good team player.

(might even take Lee, but im not sure)

Carley. She is smart, trustworthy, has that reporter intuition, brave, can handle a weapon, drama free, and open to ideas.

I would pick Lilly otherwise but her stubbornness is troublesome. Even in the face of starvation, she refuses to entertain the idea of leaving. Normally she's so rational and cautious it's unusual she doesn't exhibit either in this situation. Sadly, it makes her a liability so I can't take her.
