The Critic's new review was about Scooby Doo & He teams up with His past & future self to review it... It was so funny in my opinion.

I can't seem to view any videos from blip. It just keeps loading forever upon pressing "play". I've read that this may be due to adblock plugins, but I have none enabled or present at the moment.

EDIT: Apparently this is not an isolated issue. Many in Canada are experiencing it. The solution? Install an adblocker. Man Blip sucks.

Like I said, installing an adblock plugin fixes the issue. This reveals that it's a problem with Blip's video ad implementation. And it's not the first time it's happened.

Aside from the deluge of adverts (which I hate with a passion when you can't skip them), I don't either.

It's a regional thing. I'm in Canada. Many others in Canada have this issue as well. A year ago it was the UK, and shortly after that the US. It's sporadic and it could work fine one day and die the next. But it's the ads that are to blame.

And yes, ads suck. Luckily AdBlock removes those as well. It's nice.

I'm in Canada too. Blip works fine for me. Sometimes the ads don't work though and they skip, but hey, I'll take that problem. :P

I wish he would do a little research on some of these things though. Watching his top 11 coolest cliches and he's talking about how composers use "nonsensical words" to sound like a dead language, and immediately pops up "Duel of the Fates" as an example when that song's lyrics are sanskrit. Yes, when translated into English, it is gibberish, but still real language here. Also, he finished that one off by saying, "What's next, a Star Trek choir singing Klingon?"

There is a choir chanting in Klingon in this song from Star Trek VI.

I did although I liked the review I didn't hate the movie as much as The Nostalgia Critic's did.

Something i hated about the review is after Shaggy finds that thing underground, The Critic just goes through the rest of the movie fast and does not hardly mention anything after this and i think it's to make the movie sound worst as it is like how he misses the part where Shaggy finds the real Rowan Atkinson (Who by the way is one of my favorite actors and comedy actors because i love Mr.Bean & Johnny English) and how he says that girl Shaggy likes is hardly in it when she is in it for a good amount of time but something i hated about it was when the monsters attack everyone and Scooby,Shaggy,Daphine, and that girl escape i found a few things wrong with the review and the movie at this part.

Now if i remember right he thinks this part is pointless or something but there is a couple of parts that are actually like the cartoon. For one he mocks Shaggy by saying ''There i said my line for the trailer'' after Shaggy says ''Scooby Doo where are you!? when Shaggy would usually always do this when he and Scooby can't find each other. Second Scooby & Shaggy does this kind of stuff when they are escaping from something like if i remember right Scooby did use the suitcase trick in the cartoon and Shaggy & Scooby would always put on costumes to trick monsters. Second During the part where Scooby would bite the monster's nails this is something Scooby would do in the cartoon and he would come back for that sandwich in the cartoon (Before anyone makes a Team Fortress 2 Heavy joke i'll do it for you. Heavy: SANDVICH!!!!). Like i say i did like the review but this time it seemed The Critic tried too hard to make it seem worst then what it actually is. I also didn't like the side plot of The Critic having to save the world and i didn't like the way he acted at the start going on a big rant about why he didn't have friends when we see plenty of times he has friends.

I wasn't a fan of the 'save the world' aspect either, and I found the echoing in the scenes with the angel so muffling that I couldn't understand half of what was being said, but overall the review mentioned most of what I disliked with the film, especially the end villain, which was bullshit.

That said, I think I liked the concept more than I did the execution. Doing with a review with your younger, more naive self seems like a good concept, as does doing it with an older, more jaded version. But somehow it just didn't quite gel together as well as I felt it could. Maybe he just didn't explore it as much as he could have, I dunno.

I did like the subplot about the younger and older self and it is pretty great but again the save the world part is boring and Critic having no friends is a lie because we see plenty of times that he has friends. If i remember right didn't he introduce that guy who just went around saying he was a dinosaur as his friend. It's something like ''They act like they don't care when the monster is on screen''. Then Doug's friend walks in and he just like ''Yeah i'm a dinosaur''.

Now again i do like the review and there are many points that can be agreed on with The Critic (I love the part at the end of the review that when Scrappy is found out as the villain the old Critic says ''Called it!'' Then after they beat Scrappy and that random guy goes up to Velma and Old Critic is like ''Called that too!'' But it just seemed to me that in loads of parts The Critic tries to make the movie sound worst then what it actually is.

Also Darth those parts you could not hear were just along the lines of Critic asking Roger the Angel what was going to destory the world,Roger saying he will only answer Yes/No questions and The Critic ruins it in 1 second by asking ''Why'' Then Roger goes on a rant and sends back The Critic the first time. The Second time was Roger confirming Critic saved the world and his past and future self are fine. Critic is then back in his house and goes to play cards with Dinosaur Man and 2 other guys.

Clearly you're not as big a fan as I thought. The guy in the dinosaur mask is Rob Walker, Doug's real-life brother, who's also occasionally known as 'The Other Guy'. He also portrays Santa Christ (who's long overdue for a return!).

Also, You if you're gonna have a spoiler tag, remember to put a [/spoiler] at the end!

I do know about Rob i just didn't know he did Dinosaur guy. Maybe Santa Christ might return in the Critic's next christmas episode. Also i know one episode of the Critic that makes everyone faceplaim,One that makes everyone want to slap The Critic for making this episode.....Bart's Nightmare. I don't get why people hate it. I didn't think it was bad but i didn't think it was funny ether.

It's an okay LP and showcases a game I glady haven't seen before. It was an experiment that fans of moviereviews didn't like it seems. The biggest problem with it is what you already said: It wasn't funny.

I just throught of another good point for the Scooby Doo movie. The trailer is great. It makes it look like a darker roboot of Batman then it reveals it's Scooby. Also it's better when you compare this to the newest live action Scooby Doo movies.The Mystery Begins is good enough and a good prequel but Curse of the Swamp Monster is just bad. You need to see it for yourself. Bad CGI (Scooby looks fine it's the monsters i'm talking about) At the end they burst into this big musical number with just bad music.

Now if you watched the new Scooby Doo Mystery Inc series that has the good cliffhangers and a good bit of drama i would recommend that but the reason i bring this up is for people who watched it know that Shaggy & Velma were dating in that. Well they try to recreate that in this but fail at it. Also in the a plot point in this is that Scooby starts to feel lonely and not like part of the gang and Shaggy trying to get together with Velma makes Scooby feel worse.

Now A.If you have ever watched a bit of any Scooby Doo thing you would know that Shaggy would never do this. He would never make Scooby feel lonely and know what they do at the end? Well Mystery Inc get a check and Shaggy says group picture and leaves Scooby out of it and Scooby has to take the picture. After he takes the picture,The gang leave the room and Scooby feels bad. Well Scooby screws up and is sent out a window and is caught by Shaggy who says he's always going to be there for Scooby. This fixes everything but now the ending is just bad. The gang bursts into a musical number and changes styles from a 60's band and the song then turns into a rap and there is a bit with the classic Scooby-Doo villains,The Witch Doctor & The clown who hypotises people and their costumes are just crap. I'm sorry but the costumes are crap. The Witch Doctor mask is over sized.

This is why Scooby Doo The movie is far better than Scooby Doo Curse of the swamp monster.
