So who is playing New SMB2?
I'm loving it.. It obviously doesnt do anything REALLY new for the franchise.. but I like playing mario levels and Nintendo continues to do platforming best.

One nice little touch that I noticed was the background gets clear if you turn off the 3d and out of focus if its all the way up.. I thought that was cool.. I love the 3d effect in the water levels.

I have only played 1 Paper Mario game and that is Super Paper Mario. I love it and it's one of my favorite Mario games but World 8 is kicking my ass you guys would not believe how long it took me to get to World 8-4 and i'm still stuck on that level.

Also something i just figured out is Some people on the fourms are conplaining about having to wait an extra few weeks or months for Episode 3 of the Walking Dead (I think most of them could be new to the fourms & New to Telltale's Games because they conplain saying that Telltale said this would be a monthly game when,A. Most of Telltales games have a 2 month gap between the first & second episode such as Back To The Future, And look at Hector. That had about a year's gap between the first & second episode. B.Is that most of Telltale's game episodes don't come out exactly a month later but usually a few days after the first episode was out on the last month for example just because Walking Dead episode 1 comes out on the 24th April does not mean Episode 2 will come out on the 24th of July but they usually come out a few days later like since Episode 2 came out on the 29th of April.) Now to people complaining about the episode being delayed. Well think about people who pre-ordered a game like Luigi's Mansion 2 or Sly Cooper Thieves In Time which has been delayed for more than 3 months.

Dude, I just got that game yesterday! You can tell I'm hooked on this game - I think I'm 3/8 of the way through already!

I only got around to playing the first 10 minutes or so of Paper Mario 2, but it was enough to convince me that the game (and, by extension, the entire sub-series) was freakin' gold. That background conversation had me cracking up, and games very rarely do that.

I absolutely love the Mario RPGs. All of them. They show so much more imagination and humour then the platformers, and they're always so much more than just 'run to the right and jump on stuff'. Characters develop personalities, we learn about the moral conflicts of the world around us and Luigi really comes into his own. Fuck Luigi's Mansion, the RPGs are where he really shines.

But yeah, I like the fully 3D platformers as well, albeit because they're really the only games that even do the whole '3d platformer' thing any more, and it's a sub-genre I miss. Maybe developers just don't want to try competing with Nintendo? I dunno, I guess it's just a shame we don't get more games like that, 'cause I'd play the hell out of them.

Mario platformers, or any platformers for that matter, don't appeal to me anymore. I'd be more than happy to see Mario RPGs though.

I have only played one Paper Mario game which was Super Paper Mario and it's great. But i have played all the games in the rpg Mario & Luigi series. I love those games.
