You should really try the point-and-click adventures from wadjet eye games.

they are really, really well written and have some neat oldschool graphics.
recommending "resonance" and the "blackwell bundle". AND of course "gemini rue".

oh, and im really looking forward to the new sherlock holmes adventure. (release 20th sept in europe)

From what I've played in the last year, I've really loved the original The Longest Journey on PC and Ghost Trick on the DS.

Just bought survival horror point n clicker 'Home' out on Steam.. awesome.

Gemini Rue great too. Jolly Roger for the kids. There are endless forgotten adventure gems though, as well as new ones coming out that are easy to not notice, all the time..

I own almost every single game TTG has made. Also all 3 Gabriel Knight games and ALL the Monkey Island games (not just TOMI). I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. Does Oregon Trail count?
