Default Why did Lee... (Episode 3 Spoiler)

kick the blowtorch into the oil at the end off the bridge? I was kind of expecting it to explode as the train got away, killing the zombies, but all it did was create a little fire. What was the point?

Don't know. I thought it would end up exploding too...though maybe not exploding was a good thing..how far away would that be heard? It would probably attract more than it destroyed :/

Lee did that?

Mine got the hell out of dodge.

Maybe he thought it would explode and take all the zombies out.... silly Lee, this isn't a movie....

Oh right okay sorry, I will have a look for the other thread. I think an explosion would have been cool. It wouldn't matter too much if it attracted zombies since they were on the train anyway, but I guess it would have been pointless since the zombies couldn't catch up to the train anyway. But Lee kicking the blowtorch down seems just as pointless.

Another question is why were there so many zombies there anyway? It's not like they were making a lot of noise and they weren't exactly in a densely populated area.

When I kicked the torch onto the puddle I was half expecting Lee to hop on the train, he puts on some cool shades and say some corny one liner while blowing up a million zombies. :'( Ah well can't have anything.

Since the zombies walk unhindered right in the fire without any effect I think it was a planned option where in the next scene you could see some walkers burning down and they forgot to implement it.

This didn't make any sense to me. Was hilarious, though.

Perhaps it was cut out due to time constraints?

I mean, everyone's already on edge waiting for the next episode...

Mind reader. As much content as Ep 3 had (seemed longer than 2 and 2 was meaty) it just doesnt seem 'polished'. There seems to be major chunks of dialogue missing from post-raid to the train scene (aka the RV shooting) that would piece together stuff for me. Like, why the major difference in attitudes Lily takes between Doug and Carley. Did something happen at the Motel or maybe in that RV as they were fleeing that got those two riled up with each other?
And its convenient to say 'oh no time for burial, ZA and all that' but this was Carley/Doug...the one you chose to save. I highly doubt that after all Lee and Carely have shared, he would leave her dead on the side of a highway like roadkill for walkers to scavenge. I think something happened on that RV post- raid, some conversation exclusive to Carlie's char that initiated something with Lily

If that is the case, I think some patching is in order.

what's more important is why didn't lee Shot Lilly in the face after she executed Doug/Carly?

Had I been given the option I would have executed her on the spot!

This is following the comic timeline. She doesn't die because she plays a big part in Rick Grimes' life.

It would be really great to get a statement from The Telltale team why ep3 feels so rushed/sloppy/bad written. They're lurking here around, but are avoiding at the moment all the delicate questions.

It doesn't matter though as the train was speeding away. So by the time the zombies that were attracted by the sound of the explosion gets there, the train would be long gone.

With zombies being so stupid one could just say make a very loud area to gather a lot in... then boom goes the dynamite.
