How to bring everyone back one last time.

I think we all have a favorite we would like to see one last time then the idea hit me. We know some of the details of why Lee went to jail but nothing of how exactly it went down. Why not do it in a flashback to the time of the incident and to his trial but use all the characters that are alive and dead. This can happen in a dream or if Lee is dying.

Example...

Lilly: Lee's wife
Carley: Lee's defence attorney
Doug: Sympathetic police detective
Larry: The judge
The extras can be on the jury.

Lee and Clem are surrounded by a horde of walkers and decide this is it. Lee check his gun and has two shots left.

Lee: Clementine, close your eyes.
Clem: *crying* ok
Lee: I love y.....
Distorted Female Voice: Lee...... Lee

Lee looks around but all that can be seen is walkers closing in from all around. He raises the gun and closes his eyes.

DFV: LEEEEEE!!!!!

A confused Lee opens his eyes and he is in a familiar room. He is laying on a couch surrounded by his wife, his daughter, and his friends.

Carley: Lee honey are you ok? You don't look so good.
Doug: Yeah man. You're sweating like crazy.
Carley: Were you having a nightmare?
Lilly: He's fine, I have to go. (Lilly walks out of the room with Larry)

Lee looks around and sees all of his friends staring at him worriedly.

Clem: Are you ok daddy?
Lee: I'm ok

Clementine and Duck go off together to play.

Lee: (to everyone) What happened?
Carley: You don't remember?
Lee: What I remember makes no sense whatever.
Carley: We were having our barbeque. You had a few drinks and said you couldn't take it anymore. You got into an argument with the neighbors because of that terrible smell coming from their house.
Ben: You told them it smelled like they were harvesting bodies for food or something and the big one, Andy I think, took a swing at you.
Kenny: He knocked you out cold man. Hahaha!
Carley: Kenny! *sends a hateful glare at Kenny*
Kenny: Fine. You took it like a... champ.

Lee: Asshole! Would you just turn that tv off? I have the worst headache ever.

Carley walks to the television that is playing George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead, and turns it off.

THE END!!!

I think that, if Lee dies at the end, there should be flashbacks of the main group members and their last moments in the game, changed slightly due to your decisions. So far that would be Carley or Doug being eaten by zombies in Episode 1, Mark dragging his legless body into the dining room, Larry's head being smashed in, Carley or Doug being shot by Lilly, either Lilly being left on the road or stealing the RV, Katjaa holding Duck or they could show Katjaa dead on the ground, and then Duck leaning against the tree in the woods. And then there would be the deaths/exits in Episode 4 and 5. Maybe it could even show things like Glenn leaving the motel and Shawn being eaten by zombies, and then Hershel telling the group to get out. Clementine would probably be the last one maybe showing Lee and her hugging or something, or maybe there last moments before they seperate or she dies (if either of those actually happen), and then he would die. That's if he does die, but I think it would be pretty cool. Like he was remembering those who died and the hard choices he had to make.

Edit: A bit like in Extended Cut of Mass Effect 3, it shows character stills of those who died during the games. Instead of showing the characters just smiling, it could show there final moments, or the moment they left Lee.

While it has the potential to be cartoony (seriously, it could backfire badly if done in the wrong context), this is actually not a bad idea. Maybe move a few roles around, but yeah if they managed to pull this off naturally that could be a very interesting way of giving one final nod to them. Perhaps based on how you treated a certain character they will play a different part or the progression will change differently.

I doubt it will happen, but I do like the thought.
