Of course it's doable.
But do/did they have the budget to make something like that? Are any of their other games even remotely like that.

You seem to think this is an RPG. No wonder you're disappointed. Telltale and Quantic Dream are two of the only companies working with a format such as this. I'd consider this Telltale's first attempt at it. Quantic Dream's first attempt was Indigo Prophecy. For what it's worth, Walking Dead has more choice than Indigo Prophecy (it's better told too).
Yeah, Telltale isn't ready for something of that scale yet, but neither was Quantic Dream. I'm pretty sure we're going to get some amazing stuff with this format, it's just going to take a lot more experimentation. |
