Thanks for clearing that up, if it's true. What I don't get about that is... Why not reach over the fence, on that side, and mark the fence itself? It wouldn't have been obvious to anyone if he had done that. :P I guess we had to figure it out, sooner or later, so the story could progress.

yeah, why not have the chalk cross above the grate or just near it, but maybe the bandits specifically picked that wall because they could see it from really far away from a hidden vantage point, then move hidden in the woods to approach the grate from the opposite side.
or maybe it's so we could find the clue before leaving the main parking lot, but that's not story so that's stupid

I think it might be possible that he found a way over or under it. After all, a person is much more resourceful than the dead, and he's a pretty slim guy.

In Episode two, when the camera pans on Lily's face as she's staring off into the woods, before Lee and company bring Ben and his friend in, you can see her weapon. Now, I may be wrong, but judging by the size, magazine (It looked like a magazine at the bottom of the rifle), and so on... You mean to tell me Lily was using a .22 rifle? Really? That's all they could find? Even in Episode three, when Carly helps you in the Motor Inn raid, she seems to be using a 9mm semi-automatic (Pistols are harder to identify in games, but it looks like a 9mm to me). Is this all they could find?

In reality, they should have been tripping over guns, especially in Georgia. Southern states are known for their gun toting citizens (And there's nothing wrong with that). I find it really hard to believe that, with the majority of the population decimated by the outbreak, they only had those certain weapons after a 3+ month stay at the inn. Even one of the bandits had a shotgun, but Lee's crew are carrying light arms. Wow.
You bring up some excellent points.

I think this one is explainable though.

Until people realized you need a headshot - a lot of ammo would likely have been lost on center mass shots.

Plus, guns make a lot of noise, noise attracts walkers... so places with guns will have lots of walkers (except possibly actual gun stores) - since anyone with a gun would either have it or have lost it when getting overrun.

I found it odd they didn't pick up any military grade gear when they got Mark (his name was Mark right?) - but again, ammo is probably the limiting factor.

I was wondering that for quite a while already and watching that scene again now, brought me to more "things that don't add up".

I'll provide some pics for clarity.

The scene starts with a Zombie attacking and taking down a bandit.

The Walker seems to feast on his prey behind the barricade while Lee is just about to shoot the last bandit.

Once shot, Lee calls out to the three to move but only Clem does. In the background we see the walker getting up, making his way to Katjaa and Duck. He will obviously ignore the bandit Lee just shot, even though the Walkers did feast on the lady in episode 3 after Lee shot her.

From now on it takes five seconds for Lee to hug Clem and let go. Only then do Katjaa and Duck even try to run for safety.

This is the frame where the scene cuts to Lee, it is quite well possible the Walker got Duck. It is only in the next scene that Katjaa fights back.

There are a few things here that don't add up for me. One would be the Walker's behavior, why did the other bandits totally ignore the Walker, but most importantly, why didn't Katjaa and Duck move when Lee told them too?

The walker was dead when it landed on Duck. It wasnt so much a bite as much as the weight of the walker's 'dead' body pressing on Duck leaving the bite-indentation, but it was enough to penetrate skin. I think this is why Duck lasted as long as he did. An animated walker would have ripped clean through his side.
imo

The Walker was definitely not dead (erm... you know what I mean). He actively throws Katjaa and Duck to the ground and struggles with them before getting shot.

The walker was dead before it could complete it's bite on Duck.

So you are basically saying that Duck was actually bitten in episode 1 and it took three and a half months for him to turn?

Ok, so if Duck was bitten neither in episode 1 nor in episode 3, who bit him then? Ben?

Who's on first? What's on second?

I think what Xarne is saying is that Duck wasn't bitten by the walker until after he was shot and that it was the weight of the falling body that broke Duck's skin with the walker's teeth. It's possible, but I think that even if Katjaa wasn't fighting back yet, that walker was dealing with a very wiggly little kid and when he tried to bite him, Duck reacted and flinched back before the walker got a good chunk.

Sure I read that, I just don't see any logic in it.

He had clear bite marks, I boldly state that these are impossible to achieve, while falling on someone from about 30 centimeters and through a t-shirt. Sorry, no way dudes.

You dont see how someone can bite hard enough through a t-shirt to leave bite marks, but not tear the cloth itself? Well, thats a life experience you'll need to discover for yourself my friend. And just like the scenario with Duck, just cause *you* dont believe in it, doesnt mean it didnt or cant happen.

You said the walker was dead... how could he bite? He would have to fall with his teeth onto the shirt and penetrate it enough to also penetrate Duck's skin.

Are you trying to be funny there? Bullshit yourself if you must... my friend!
