Even the worst Futurama episode is still a damn good episode.

Last season had episodes that were incredibly touching (the one where Bender has to cope with mortality, the one where Fry got 'late' to a date with Leela because he went million of years into the future) and some that were very damn funny (the last reincarnation episode where we saw Futurama as a retro video game and a horribly dubbed anime? That was HILARIOUS).

So far the new season didn't have any episodes that have made me really feel something emotionally, but they still have been enjoyable to watch and are still funny.

They're doing Futurama in different styles at the end of this season too (at the end of season 7b, the episodes that will be aired in 2013). It's called "Saturday Morning Fun Pit" and will feature the characters in the style of classic saturday morning cartoons. One of the cartoons will be a parody of Scooby Doo, with "Bender as a crime-solving dog with a bunch of teenage kids played by [the Futurama] characters". It sounds like it could be just as hilarious as Reincarnation.

I followed the series and saw every episode up to the first one after the movies...and then I haven't managed to catch a single episode since. It hurts and I feel I only have myself to blame.

Default Futurama Thread

Well it's been a while since Futurama made it's comeback after the 4 movies and It's now on it's second season after it's comeback. Anyway you can talk about anything Futurama in this thread (Also since this is a Futurama thread expect a few Simpsons references from Coolsome)

Anyway my question is what is your favorite Futurama movie?

There's already a Futurama thread.

But, to answer your question, my favorite movie is Bender's Big Score. I liked the other ones, but BBS seemed to connect the subplots to the main movie the best out of them (they also seemed to split up into separate episodes the best when watched on Comedy Central).

Either Bender's Big Score or Green Yonder, but because I like seeing Leela and Fry.

I've added my vote to yonder as well. Doesn't help that I like to Go Green.

I voted for Beast with a billion backs. I like the story in it and the Bender Subplot was so funny .

Bender's Big Score is a close second then Into the wild green yonder and then Bender's Game

I liked that movie but I didn't like the fact that the Bender subplot with the Earth's robots just ended up being unresolved at the end and it wasn't followed up on as everything just ended up back to the status quo in the next movie.

But you can give Bender one thing...He made the greatest ending to Bender's Big Score ''Well we're boned''

It's been a while since I saw them all, but I seem to recall disliking Beast of a Billion Backs for some reason.

Perhaps because its implications were disgusting.

I think Bender's Game is the worst. I don't think it's bad but i think it's worst when compared to the rest. Don't get me wrong i think from the start until the part where they go to Bender's dream world is great but it's more of the second half where i start getting bored.

I felt the movies weren't structured awfully well - dunno if they were any better episodically?

I've just bought the DVD of the subsequent series and two episodes in, am not impressed. Just doesn't seem like "Futurama" at all.

The first three or four episodes after the return were frankly not very good. Actually I'd say they were pretty awful. After that the show seriously picked up, and there were a lot of excellent episodes. The most recent half-season was a bit more even -- there weren't any episodes that I would point to as spectacular, but they were mostly pretty solid.

I agree the movies weren't as great as they could have been, though I liked the last two more than the first two.
