Default Would You Want The Walking Dead Soundtrack On Sale?

I love scores for movies, games, shows and whatever. I find instrumental music so fun and engaging. Yes it is weird of me, but I am cool with that.

I am just curious if anyone would be interested in having the soundtrack for The Walking Dead or any other Telltale games available for purchase? I find it to be pretty good music considering it is fairly simplistic compared to other game scores. I wouldn't mind having it play in the background during homework time or something.

Also, to have another question, what is your favorite piece of music from the game so far?

Yeah, sure. Until then i'm just listening to music ripped from the game, but i'm sure a OST would get at least 70% of the money that the game earned.

Perhaps Telltale might go with that idea when Season One's finished.

Ah, and my favorite piece of music? Remember that bandit raid from episode 3? Yeah. There you go. Favorite piece of music.

I'd love a soundtrack from the game. My favorite theme is at the end of the third episode when Lee looks at Clem's drawing. I can only hope that TT include this track more often.

Definately. The theme when you just defeat Andy, explaining to Clem what's going on with Duck right before the clearing, walking up to the clearing with Kenny (by picking any choice but "I'll do it" the first time) and the one at the end of 3 are some of the best pieces I've ever heard. You also have to listen to Chuck's guitar, which is pretty boss as well.

Telltale released soundtracks for the first two seasons of Sam and Max, though they haven't done it since. (Where's our Devil's Playhouse soundtrack? )

But yes, a Walking Dead soundtrack would be amazing. I love when there's a song so emotional it makes me want to cry, and then I think "Man, this came from a video game!" And The Walking Dead's soundtrack has that in spades.

Agreed. Those are such excellent surprises and TWD has several of those surprises in its soundtrack so far. I think Telltale would really be able to capitalize on selling it as a CD or for digital download on iTunes or something. Just please put ALL of the tracks on it. It irks me when a soundtrack comes out and you cannot find some of your favorite tracks!

As for my favorite tracks....oh, hard choice. I would say the track playing when you decide Andy's fate is one of my favorites. It just feels so powerful in context to the events of that choice. I will also say the music for Duck in THAT SCENE in Episode 3 (not to spoil) and the ending music at the motor inn in Episode 1 are some of my favorites.

The soundtrack is nice but I wouldn't buy it. It works for the game but not my personal taste.

I would love to buy it. It's weird, I don't really dig instrumentals unless their from a form of a movie or game for some reason.

My favourite track is the one that plays when you´re deciding Andy´s fate. It was so sad ...

I adore the soundtrack! I'm a fan of instrumentals.
The one thestalkinghead has a link to is my favorite but I also love the one when Lee interacts with Clementine in the pharmacy and on the swing.
The music was so perfect when they were deciding what to do with Duck

A big thank you to the musical team, much appreciated

Hell Yeah I would love a OST to be released.

I particularly love Its Over and the Stats trailer songs.

Its Over was beautifully placed at the end of Episode 2.

Can we also get a release of Chuck's greatest hits? I know he's only got one right now, but hopefully there'll be enough in the last two episodes to fill out the rest of the cd.

Sadly it looks like Chuck has traded his guitar for a shovel, better for walker whacking but I'll miss his tunes
