Okay. Not to be a douche or anything, but "Ask not for whom the bell tolls...." is from John Dunne's
Devotions upon Emergent Occasions. Generally speaking, when the church bell would ring, it was a signal that someone in a village or community had died. This is basically saying that sooner or later, the bell will toll for thee - or, you're going to die. Deal with it.
