I'll start by saying TWD is the only game I play, and I'm no computer genius. I have had the problem with downloading episode 4 that many others have mentioned, but I also noticed tonight that my kids' Angry Birds also fails to update despite saying there is a new version. I now remember my computer had a sizable Windows update two days ago. Could those be related? Could settings have been re-set that could stop the download? Feel free to make fun of me or berate me. I'm just trying to figure this out (and AT&T says my internet is fine).

Come to think of it, the night I went to download episode 4 my PC had a decent sized Windows update too. I have had some major problems downloading episode 4 (which I was finally able to do thanks to: http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/...ad.php?t=36228). Now that the game is downloaded, I cannot run the game. I get to the "Click to Start" button, but as soon as I click, it freezes. I too was getting the "Connection Error" and I also contacted Time Warner to make sure my intrnet was fine.
