They've fleshed her out and have given her too much back story and general competence to never return to the character again. Besides, regardless of your choice, we never see her die.

A playable Clem wouldn't work. Making decisions/choices as a child would be boring and too limiting, and an older Clem would require a shift in the story by several years, beyond the time line of the comic even which I doubt TellTale will be given the creative freedom to do.

Regardless as to whether or not Molly had a good back story it is impossible for her to be the protagonist of the next season as she can die in episode 4 should you leave Clemintine in the house and fail to save her from the walker (although if you look into the wiki on the walking dead it does state that it is unknown as to whether or not she survived the walkers grouping around her.

I know im obviously not the first to suggest it, but I think it would make the most sense. I feel like clem has seen all your actions and she takes that into how she would probably deal with things in the future. So in my opinion it would make sense since she got the way she handles things from lee.

I think this would be a pretty neat idea for season two & it would definitely connect the two seasons together. It would also be interesting to see how your choices regarding Clem effect her life in the future.

The thing about Clementine is that she could be raised/taught by Lee several different ways. Telltale of course could find a way to get around this though.

Really, stop proposing to play as Lilly, Kenny, Omid, christa, or anyone we already know. We already know their personalities, which makes this whole dialogue-options stupid. If we get to play as a character we already know, it will be most likely be Molly (we know hardly anything from her personality, we know she's nice, auto sufficient, and active, but nothing else about her character), or Clementine, but I hardly see this happening, we can't just skip more than half a year of the timeline, as we'd reach the comic's. Since it would be boring as hell to play as a kid, I don't see that happening.

Perhaps the protagonist might be this campman fella who was watching Lee during the burial of the child who was starved for we know nothing of him and there is a slight chance that he might be friendly and might be willing to take care of Clemintine.

Did you even READ the posts above you? Kenny WONT be next season's protagonist, half of TWD fans hate him, and we already know his character/personallity, which makes the dialogue option pointless.

Heres couple of ideas to connect both seasons:

1- you play as a member of Crawford before it broke down (you can bring Molly and Vernon back)
2- you can be the one who got his food stolen from his car (episode 2).
3- member of the bandit (could meet Ben)
4- member of Woodbury (meet Lily/Governor)
5- an atlanta survivor (meet glenn)
6- a boat. You could drive kenny around.
7- clementine's Dad.

I wasn't being serious when I posted that...

I did like Vernon though (in my game, since if you're nice to him, tell him the truth and don't threaten him)... He seemed to actually show concern for Lee and Clementine, when he made that offer I chose the "You do have a point." option, since I've always thought, in my opinion, Clementine was kinda making it difficult for me to make choices... Which is good!In a way...

He also seemed like the 'wise old man' type too... Which I kinda like in a character like that anyway.

I haven't seen her actually die, just vague rumors about "shooting her in the head". I mean actually see her die. If not, all bets are off.

Well my lee got a scratch no saliva so possible he wont die. For season two let us choose our gender so it can be two different experiences and fix the gunplay plz

Kennys a douche i thought he was cool before but no he sucks especially when he called me urban. then there was another racist word i was called not really offensive but more like "oh no you did not call me that"

Well, pretty sure telltale kept her alive for some reason, we will probably see her again in episode 5, or season 2, I'm guessing. I think telltale has another plans for Molly, however :/

You never see her get killed off. If you mess up the shooting part she runs away and you don't see the outcome. With her experience I'm sure she would have no problem escaping since she knew the area. I've also heard Molly is confirmed for episode 5. My guess is her and Clem, along with whoever is left, will be the focus of season 2. With the player taking over Molly.

I think the Molly idea sounds the best to me.

Though I did speculate Kenny,but I then thought about his personality and all the stuff mentioned here.
