Default Episode 4 -- My game freezes...[SPOILERS]

...when I try to walk over the the boy in the attic... EVERY time. I'll reload my game, and I've tried the other options to choose from...but when I try to walk over to him, my game freezes, and then just flickers back and forth from the frozen scene to black screen and then back again.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem, except my game freezes just a little bit before, as Lee is about to go up the ladder into the attic. I can still hit Esc to get to the menu, but the game itself freezes up and won't continue. I've tried verifying game cache on steam but it's not finding any missing files. Anyone?

I'm having the same problem; where the game freezes when Lee starts to go up the ladder.

This came up in a Google Search; so I came directly here

But, my solution was indeed in the support forum:

http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/...ad.php?t=36154

I believe it is the first time in the series that the mouse cursor disappeared; which is why I assumed the game was frozen. I cannot say enough bad things about this game's UI.

I dont know what to do...I know its frozen and its always the same spot. It freezes and then the screen looses the background. Ive lowered my settings and I tried going back one checkpoint. Its frustrating.
