The character of Chuck was made to be liked, although admittedly I don't think he had much room for interesting character development, which in a game like this wouldn't be excusable for any long term characters except ones controlled by the player.

I don't think anyone could find a reason to dislike him. The only thing harder would be finding a reason not to hate Ben (which some poor, demented people have been rumored to accomplish).

Goddammit Ben, why did you have to leave the fighting to Chuck!?!

Unfortunately so true. It's speculated he could be Brenda's husband, Terry as he looks similar to the man in the photo. Even though they claimed him to be dead, it could of been interesting if it was true.

Around when you first meet Omid and Christa, right before you do while Kenny and Chuck are arguing I thought that would be a hint of maybe another Lilly/Kenny thing but with a crazy Kenny and a calm Chuck.

They could've had an interesting antagonism for each other, not as strong as Lilly/Kenny but just sort of getting under each other's skin.
