It has an Egyptian theme! I'm half expecting Yu-Gi-Oh to turn up. I'd say the villain looks stupid but since Buu is on the poster it reminded me how stupid the last one looked so its a step up.

I'm legitimately surprised to see this here before my weekly visit to Kanzenshuu(Previously Daizenshuu EX and Kanzentai, Daizex itself previously being "VegettoEX's Homepage" back in the days when Planet Namek and DBZ Uncensored were actually sites that existed).

Since it's set during the lost decade, GT won't have happened yet.

Sounds like this is supposed to take place 2 years after the defeat of Buu, which gives them an out if they decide to completely forget about the Jump special.

I don't know what to think of this. I loved the original 13 DBZ movies, but this seems like a quick cashmaking decision.
Maybe not, I hope not, but it's just a little weird to release a new movie so many years after the story ended.
If they'd continue the DB story with a whole new universe and story, I could understand this release a little better.
