So homosexual marriage finally seems like it's getting approval from the American public, to which I say Kudos! I'm firmly attracted to the female form myself, but I'd never want to keep someone from marrying someone else.

I think it's great that attitudes are finally becoming more accepting of homosexuals. Every argument as to why they shouldn't be able to get married is flawed in such an obvious way that my mind boggles as to how people can be so pig-headed as to prevent two people from declaring their love to the world and enjoying the benefits of married life. I really despise homophobes.

N7... not that you'd ever have to support homosexual marriage, I know how things are viewed in your country... but according to forum rules, a certain level of tolerance concerning homosexuality is actually required for our members.

It depends on how N7 (or anyone behaving the same way) proceeds, basically. He's made his views known, which is fine, and if he wants to explain the logic behind it and engage in a healthy debate, fair enough. If he wants to just say "being gay is wrong!" and ramble on without saying anything, I suspect I'll just give him a warning.

Slightly touchy subject, homosexuality. I don't want to just slap people's wrists for having opinions that differ from everyone else's. That's not what should happen in an open forum.

I'm glad. I live in Canada's version of Texas, so...yeah, I see the intolerance on a daily basis. It's generally not violent here, just a lot of finger waving and whispered jokes. I, however, have a fair amount of homosexual and bisexual friends and things have only become more and more awesome for them in terms of acceptance as the years go on. It's great.

(I personally am straight with a slight feminine twist and damn proud of it!

(I kind of wish I was bisexual at times actually. Makes the potential pool of applicants larger. ;D (I'm going to admit, some guys I've seen have looked pretty damn fine.... but the ladies win over the judges!)))
