Yeah, I loved The Journey Down. It has that old school feel to it, an almost Grim Fandango-esque atmosphere, good puzzles and it flows really well. To me personally it's also a major plus that it's available for Linux. I only hope they'll be able to produce chapters more frequently than fellow Swedish developer Cockroach Inc (The Dream Machine). It's a bit frustrating to wait almost a year between installments of an episodic game.

It's a turn-based RPG based on the FPS series. It actually looks pretty interesting.

This is actually REALLY good. It's EXTREMELY funny and the mechanics they use to really blend the styles of game, and not just shoe-horn Serious Sam-like abilities into a typical menu-based RPG, make this a really worthwhile thing to play. I recommend it.

I found it quite enjoyable. I had a few bugs but this version seems to be updated, I'll be sure to check out. It is definitely worth the few bucks you'll put in it.

The last deal was Fotonica, but I guess everyone was as uninterested as me in it, since it didn't get any mention here.

The new deal looks pretty interesting though, even if I'm not sure it's really my kind of game:

It's got a Metascore of 79, and is redeemable on both Desura and Steam. As far as I can tell it's not currently on Steam, not even on Greenlight, so I'm not sure what that means.

I wish more of these titles were available for Linux as I think that would be a really good selling point for many of them, since there are currently a lot fewer games sharing the spotlight.

It's a co-op based 2D platformer. Looks quite good, actually. Steam Greenlight page, which has more videos.

The game is really fun and provides a link to bonus material when you end it. But really. 10$ as a recommended price is a stretch.

$10 is always the recommended donation regardless of the game, I think.

They recommend $10 for all games because that gets you the current game, the previous game, and the next game as part of their "make it a bundle" deal.

Cognition: Episode 1 is the current deal on IndieGameStand. They switched deals about 6 hours ago, but didn't send out an e-mail this time. Or at least I didn't get one.
