What if that person who holds back the Walkers so that Lee can escape isn't just Kenny? What if it's whoever is your closest friend?

Several people. In my main playthrough, we have a difficult relationship (I helped him out a lot in ep.1, but I tried saving Larry in episode 2), so he will probably hold that against me. Whereas I've been nice to Ben the entire game, and out of my current group he's probably my closest friend.

Okay but how will the game know you are buddies? Will it scan your mind or something? for instance say yo really like Kenny but you are best friends with Ben but Kenny sacrifices himself, people will get out the old pitchfork.

I don't actually think the person will vary. Ben's already told you to go on without him, and it would seem repetitive to do the same. I think it will always be Kenny because he always used to care about only himself and his family. This will be a change in pace if you ask me.

But anyway, I gotta agree with Viser. Ben's my only real friend in this messed up world, and I wouldn't leave him behind anytime, anywhere.
