Default Would you be here for an adult/teenage Clem?

If Clem is back in season 2, would you be here for an adult/teenage Clem?

A 10 year old Clem maybe, but they really can't go far into the future, at least not 10 or so years. I suppose if Kirkman gave the all clear but It's unlikely.

It can only go about 2 years into the future and no more because thats as far as the comics have gone and the game cannot go ahead of the comic in terms of timeline

kirkman could be planning some big reveal or twist in the story that could change the world in some way, i have heard he said the zombie apocalypse could go on forever, but that doesn't mean the world wont recover and just have to live with the zombie problem, i guess it wouldn't really matter to him if telltale made a game set 10 years in the future then he wrote that the worlds military fixes the problem (clears big city areas and build fortifications) in 5 years. but there is so much that could happen in 10 years and with nothing to base what the future of zombies are (do they rot and die in 10 years) it would be its own thing rather than TWD

Im pretty sure there is alot of contract law and copyright which would stop any of that happening im afraid, plus Telltale said they want to stay true to the comic canon so they wont be making any changes to the world even if they could

yeah i agree i don't think telltale would want to do anything that would make it impossible for it to be part of TWD universe

Telltale tends to stick pretty closely to their source material. Advancing more than 2 years would not be possible.

I think if Clem does survive she will be looked after by next seasons protaginist or at least be in the protaginists group and perhaps be looked after by someone else in the protaginists group at first at least

This won't happen and I am kind of glad. The game will definitely not go over the comics timeline. Season 1 is Lee's and Clementine's story and I think Season 2 should be a whole different survivor's story.

I want it to be with the same characters or at least some of the same characters because i want their characters and story to be further developed because i have become so attached to them. Also i think if we just have a completely new set of characters things will become somewhat repetitive in such that they will face the same kinds of challenges and difficulties

Clem will likely be dead by age 10 - so I'm going with no.

Besides, going beyond the current timeline would be firmly in the grip of "non-canon" territory.

There won't be zombies 10 years down the line. At least not many.

Kirkman has already confirmed that the zombies in his universe, unlike Romero's that evolve, just keep rotting. And we already know, as per Kirkman, that zombies at the beginning of the apocalypse outnumber humans 5000 to 1. That means that there are approximately 1,400,000 people left alive at that point to the rest of the world's population as zombies. Now by the time ten years has rolled around, that initial 6,996,600,000 walkers will be long gone, having rotted away to just bone that wouldn't have a brain or virus to keep active.

So by the time 10 years has come around you have to figure many of those surviving humans are killed by other humans in the ten years span, die of old age, off themselves, can't find adequate supplies to stay alive etc. So if Clem even survives ten more years, it's safe to assume that there will be no walkers left roaming the earth. If there are, they are going to be so few and far between that they are about as much of a threat as a single earthworm killing you.

In ten years, either the surviving humans will have tried to gather in very small group sporadically around the world to try and form some semblance of civilization or it's just a lawless wasteland, with few humans running around killing each other at the very sight of another person for their supplies.

Regardless, it probably wouldn't make for a very good game considering the land mass of the earth to such few humans you'd likely never encounter anyone or anything to threaten you besides starvation and dehydration.

TWD was based on it being a zombie movie that never ends, so zombies would always be around.

If it's The Walking Dead and Telltale that's making season two, OF COURSE I'll be here

I wouldn't mind seeing an older Clem taking over either

That doesn't mean humans will be. For all we know, in Kirkman's world, humans will be extinct in ten years.

I doubt they will jump that far into the future. It will probably pick up following the epilogue
