Christa [could have ep. 5 spoilers]

I noticed going through this. The entire time I figured christa was pregnant, constant reasons TO beleive that. Then the next thing I know she takes a huge gulp of whatever Kenny decided to share in the attic. So, I'm going to hope she's not pregnant, yea? Anyone else go through this on their playthrough? Haven't seen anyone say anything about it but could of just missed it.

In my playthrough, when Lee is about to cross the sign he says that he's going first because Omid's leg is busted and Christa was "walking for two".

I always thought she might be pregnant too, and I suspected that Kenny knew about it because of a few of the looks he gave her, including his look of surprise when she took the huge swig from that bottle. Maybe that even had something to do with him choosing to jump in the hole after her.

if you had ben live, kenny and ben die at the same time but yeah we don't directly see kenny being eaten by the walkers and that last bullet he took from the couple he used to kill ben.

Also thought she was pregnant but didn't even think of that. Nice call. That is pretty terrible if they knowingly put that in.

Yeah, to me, that was a slight hint/confirmation she was prego.

But how did Lee know? It almost seemed like a missed a conversation where she revealed that to me and the game glitched and thought that I had seen it.

It reminded me of my first play-through of Heavy Rain, when one character is shocked to discover the identity of the killer, even though, in my game, they had no idea who that person was.

same thing happened here, realy bugs me as she said nothing before and Lee somehow knew. Telltale could of made it so he just assumed that, but I find it weird she didn't say anything after like "you know?" or anything, really seems like they overlooked that.

Yeah, I was pretty bummed that Christa never came right out and said that she was pregnant. I chuckled a bit when she took a swig off that bottle. Sure it's irresponsible, and she'd never do it under any other circumstance. But come on guys, can't we pardon her on this one?

Anyways, I just felt that it was a weird transition from 1. Lee not pushing Christa on the subject to 2. Lee suddenly just going around affirmatively saying that she's pregnant. It'd've made more sense if Christa acknowledged it somehow.

I suppose that's possible but it requires a lot of assumption on the player's part and the fact that she never even mentions him beforehand makes it seem like it's just a game glitch (and I think it actually is).

Either way, that's kinda what the Christa line felt like to me.

its funny you guys mention Heavy Rain. Right before I started episode 5 I am just like..ah shit I am Ethan again and I will do whatever it takes to save my kid. xDD

I think they kind of figured it out when they were sharing the magically convenient whiskey that was sitting in the box. She hesitated for a second, and looked down. When she took it and started chugging, you can see Kenny looking up and down on her, then a sudden realizing look of shock. I think it was just something that was implied, without the need to be mentioned. :P

I think all points lead up to her being pregnant.

Omid's and Christa's original talk when the group shows up:

Omid: What about when-
Christa: Now's not the time!

In episode four how she vomited, and she got extremely sad and anxious for the women on the tap, which was essentially asked to get rid of her unborn baby.

And finally in this episode where Lee says "You're walking for two." It even sealed the face even more for me when I saw her drink, as she first hesitated to do so. Kenny kept nudging her on and she then took the bottle and took a big swig. It was as Kenny said, she seemed to shrug off reality, maybe it just finally set in and she couldn't handle it.

Certainly there were many hints, it just seems weird that the only time anyone talks about it out-loud is an offhand comment that Christa doesn't even respond to.
